Singing

I started singing from an early age as a member of the local youth choir in my hometown (Coral Infantil de Ourém). I was a member of the choir for ten years, and often sang as a soloist. In 2003, I represented Portugal at the international music festival Majowa Nutka (Poland), receiving a Special Education and Culture Award.

I have taken private singing lessons at the Conservatório de Música de Ourém with Belisa Nogueira and I am currently taking regular singing lessons with the Irish baritone Paídí Ó'Dubháin.

Musical Theatre is my passion. I do it as a hobby whenever I have the chance, since I believe we must do what we like in order to lead a healthier life and be more productive in whatever we do. My main experiences in MT include the week-long course "Workshop Week" at the dominion theatre in London (2011) and the musical theatre course in Lisbon (2012) with a final show at the Carlos Paredes auditiorium.

Dance is another of my passions. I have attended workshops of contemporary dance as member of the UCLU Dance Society.

I frequently attend Zumba classes, as a way of doing exercise and at the same time developing my dance skills.

Between 2005 and 2006 I played tenor saxophone as a member of Ourém Philharmonic Band.

Photography is one of my hobbies, as I try to capture the essence of the world around me. In 2011, two of my photos were selected as finalists of the Jeune Prix de la Culture Européenne.
